Securing the Original Creation Email (OGE)

The creation email is the most important component of account ownership. Always change recovery information on the email immediately after purchase:

• Log into the provided creation email address.
• Remove the seller's recovery email and add your own trusted recovery email.
• Update recovery phone numbers and print physical recovery backup codes.
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on the email inbox.

Securing the Game/Platform Credentials

Once you secure the email, log into the game or social media platform directly:

• Navigate to Account Settings or Security settings.
• Change the login password to a unique, secure password.
• Check for linked external networks (Facebook, Twitter, Game Center, Google Play) and request the seller to unlink them.
• Bind your phone number and configure fresh two-factor verification.

Checking for active sessions

Many systems show currently logged-in devices. Log out all active sessions to ensure the seller’s devices are completely disconnected from the profile.
